Purple Smokey Eye eyeshadow look Re-visitied

Here's a smokey eye look using purples (well, one purple). I used two eyeshadows from the Antiquitease collection that just came out last week. Love 'em!! But keep in mind, you don't have to use the Antiquitease colors. Any lovely shimmerly silver sorta color will work for the inner corner, as well as any nice purple like Violet pigment or Parfait Amour! :) Anyhoo, this was a youtuber request. Hope you all like it! HOW TO: APPLY EYESHADOW - SUPER SIMPLE MISTAKE PROOF!

This is one of the oldest eyeshadow techniques but still the best (in my opinion). This technique allows you to extend your eyeshadow out - without fear - and blend to a completely natural or dramatic look as you want. This is also a great way to apply eyeshadow to mature eyes - and wonderful for hood and almond/asian eyes as it defines them without screaming "i've tried to draw in a crease". A little bit of loose face powder will let you blend blend blend the edges without ruining your work. Its a little secret that very few people know of. How To: Make Your Own Eyeshadow Primer

Eyeshadow primers are a necessity, but they can also be quite costly. So in this video I'll be showing you how to make your very own primer using products you probably already have laying around the house. It's quick, easy, and very comparable to higher end brands! What you'll need: -Body butter with little to no scent (Be sure to use a body butter, NOT a lotion because the consistency will be too runny.) -Liquid or cream foundation -Creamy concealer -Small plastic container -Popsicle stick or a plastic utensil -Toothpick Remember, you DO NOT have to use the exact brands shown in this video for fantastic results. Urban Decay Green and Brown eyeshadow tutorial!

*recorded August 29,2010* i know, I know, I've done green & brown before but I got a ton of new urban decay, been playing around with it and this is what I got. I'm always a fan of brown and green together anyway :PI think it would be fun to do a light brown on the lid, and dark green in the crease as well! I used: UD primer potion - Sin MAC shadestick - Cuddle UD matte eyeshadow - Chronic UD shadows from the Naked palette, if you can still find it BUY IT ASAP, dont even think about it. they sold out super fast and are now rare if not extinct!
