| Matthew Sabia brings us a couple tools that can help you determine what font someone is using on their website, printed material, or otherwise. By either taking a screenshot or scanning a document in, you can determine which font is used easily through a web app called "WhatTheFont" by MyFonts. This tool analyses an uploaded image and matches it to one of the many different fonts in their database automatically. Another handy web-based tool for identifying a mystery font is Indentifont, which asks you a series of questions about the characters in order to narrow down which font you may be dealing with. Identifont can also help you find a font by entering even part of its name. Matthew Sabia can be found on Twitter at: twitter.com lockergnome.com http facebook.com |
