It pushed me to start playing around with more advanced video editing and opened a whole new world of creativity for me. For the 2011 movie year, instead of doing the "entire year in film", I decided to create a mash-up of most of the movies released this year that had to do with action, adventure, science fiction, and the like. I have 45 movies worth of clips in the video, and it covers most of the movies released or scheduled to be released during 2011. While there are a few that do not make appearances (Sherlock Holmes 2, Darkest Hour, etc.) due to December release dates, and as such, do not currently have trailers out, a few movies like "The Mechanic" or "Attack the Block" didn't make the cut because I'd gotten the video as perfect as I wanted ... |
