| Bill Knauf is Assistant General Manager of Monmouth Park Racetrack in New Jersey. Bill graduated from RTIP from the UA in 1998. He started out as a marketing assistant and currently manages the facility and all the departments associated with it. The internship he spent at Del Mar Race Track helped prepare Bill and he adds that he still stays in touch with all the people he worked with there. One of the best opportunities as a RTIP student is the Symposium where students can talk to anyone in the industry. Additionally, Bill highly recommends participating in the mentor lunch held at the Symposium. Now himself a mentor, he sees this as a great opportunity. Bill recalls that while a RTIP student, there was a tremendous sense of community and wish to promote horse racing.
