| This step by step video shows you how to root a Sony ericsson xperia neo by downgrading it to a 2.3.2 firmware, rooting it with gingerbreak and do an OTA update (and only an OTA update !) to have a rooted phone with the latest firmware ! You can also root xperia play and arc devices with the same method, just by selecting the corresponding firmware and device in WotanClient. **** If you have an unlocked bootloader, gingerbreak can work, but at step 4 (OTA update), you could brick your device.
