Armed Robbery gone wrong Hostage GRAPHIC Moncton

A man with a knife holding the clerk hostage, at the store inside Lakeside Estates Mini home park off the route 134 in Lakeville just outside of the city of Moncton around 9:30am . District 11 responded and needed 3 units from Codiac RCMP also and they are setting up Perimeter around the store . He has a large knife and was talking to a District 11 RCMP member on the phone . RCMP asked for the dog , and emergency response team to respond to the scene and a negotiator. 9:45am man is still inside the store, and the owner of the store just showed up and is with police . Weisner road runs down from the Shediac road to the store and also another entrance is Biddington and both entrances are now blocked by RCMP. 10:45am and hostage is still ok and police talking to the suspect on phone . A ambulance was called to be on stand by, close to the scene along with a fire truck. The man was setting something off and door kept opening and the store was full of smoke. Police with the dog moved in front of the store. Just after 12 noon the man with the knife came out of the store with the hostage wanting the Police to shoot him, he let the hostage go and took off towards the rear of the store, and was later arrested in the woods after a short foot pursuit, just off the Weisner Road and the hostage is safe and her parents were at the scene. Warren Weinstein, US hostage appears in Al Qaeda Video

"Breaking News" Soccer Chelsea Arsenal Highlights Football "English Premier League" "la liga" "Liga España" Goals goal US hostage Warren Weinstein has pleaded with President Barack Obama to meet his captors' demands in a video released by al-Qaeda's media arm, says US monitoring group Site intelligence. Mr Weinstein, 70, an aid expert living in Pakistan, was kidnapped by armed men in the city of Lahore last August. The short video was posted to Islamist websites on Sunday, according to Site. Last year al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri said Mr Weinstein would be freed if the US stopped air strikes. 'Life in your hands' In a video released last December, the al-Qaeda leader demanded that the US cease strikes in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen and also demanded the release of al-Qaeda and Taliban suspects around the world, including the 1993 World Trade Center bombers. "My life is in your hands, Mr President. If you accept the demands, I live; if you don't accept the demands, then I die," Site quoted Mr Weinstein as saying in the latest video. Mr Weinstein also had a message for his wife in this video telling her: "I'm well; I'm getting all my medications; I'm being taken care of." There is no indication as to when or where the footage was filmed. It is thought to be the first time Mr Weinstein, who was wearing a traditional Pakistani tunic, has appeared in a video.
