| Comp.: John Lennon - Paul McCartney, Arr.: Gene Puerling The Hungarian vocal ensemble - General Harmony Singers - represents a special musical style, which has the following features: - Rewriting and interpreting exclusively in singing voice musical pieces belonging to different periods of the history of music and to various trends, that were originally written for musical instruments. What makes the sound of the ensemble even more peculiar, apart from this rare style, are the imitations of instruments and the interpretations that are often different from the original. Their repertoire spans a long period of time, from the Renaissance up to the pop music of today, including the instrumental music of the Baroque, the Classicism, and the Romanticism, evergreen plays, jazz-pieces, Beatles-hits, and interpretations of exotic folk songs. As it is also proved by the experiences of their concerts, the ensemble is capable to satisfy the musical needs of every generation with this wide repertoire.
