Hustler 6-BTV 160 meter Modification DX Engineering and not losing 80 meters

Here is a short video of a 160m add-on i did for a DX Engineering Hustler 6btv. It works well, however the bandwith is extremly narrow. I also have the 17m, 12m, 30m kits as well making this vertical Ham Radio antenna 10m,12m15m,17m,20m,30m,40m80m and "160m". Another ham in my area fabricated a 12-18' piece of aluminum for me so we could still keep 80 meters. like i mention in the video, the bandwith is only 10-12khz but its enough to have the real 160m antenna guys meet on the frequency your on.

10-Meter-Band-Opening-01-07-2011.wmv

10 Meter Amateur Radio Band Opening on January 7th, 2011 on the heels of a bit of weather (rain, cold front) we had a 6 meter band opening and 10 meters was actually better to S. Florida than 6 meters. I had received a DX Sherlock Email about 6 meters but the condx was not that good to here on 6, I clicked over and had a look at the 10 meter VHFDXINFO map it 10 meters was crazy!
