Thaipusam 2012 - Batu Caves, Kuala Lumpur

The annual Hindu festival of Thaipusam, where up to 1 million Tamil devotees make the pilgrimage to Batu Caves to bring offerings to Lord Murugan. As a form of penance, some carry kavadis - brightly decorated frameworks weighing 50 - 80kg. Some pierce their bodies with metal hooks and skewers, some through their cheeks and tongue. Recorded on 7th February 2012 between 4:30am and 8:00am.

Malaysian Street Food Tour in Kuala Lumpur

Join me on Facebook: www.facebook.com (CLICK HERE)!!! Malaysian street food is amazingly delicious and Kuala Lumpur is full of food everywhere you look! The first dish in the video is known as Nasi Campur, a truly delightful Malaysian street food that consists of a giant plate of rice accompanied by an assortment of various side dishes. I chose fish curry, chili tofu and a bunch of other delicious vegetables and garnished. Next I stopped at a famous place near Little India in Kuala Lumpur to eat an Ikan Bakar grilled fish. It was grilled in some kind of chili sauce and served with a limey chili sauce that was absolutely spectacular. When it began to rain, I decided to drink a cup of milk tea teh tarik, one of the most famous beverages in Malaysia. The next meal was at Hameed's a restaurant specializing in Indian style Malaysian street food known as Nasi Kandar. Along with a plate of rice covered in curries, I aslo ordered a plate of biryani, and a side of tandoori chicken and plan naan. I couldn't leave Kuala Lumpur without eating the absolute mos comforting Malaysian street food: Nasi Lemak. After searching around, I finally found it at an outdoors restaurant. It wasn't the best nasi lemak I've ever had, but it sure wasn't bad! Hope you enjoyed this Malaysian street food tour in Kuala Lumpur! Were words of Rok Bagoroš, KTM stunt rider, when he completed his last performance at 2012 bike expo motorcycle show in Kuala Lumpur. Indeed, enthusiastic fans did a fantastic job and pulled out last bit of strength from young stuntmen. 'My hands were hurting like hell and body was beaten, but I' just couldn't stop. When I thought: man that's enough I can't do it anymore, people just continued to cheer and with so many people wanting more, you really can't say no! Si I didn't and all I can say now is that this was my best show ever and for sure I can't wait to do it again. Kuala Lumpur is fantastic city, with great people, food, relax atmosphere. The only thing I couldn't cope with was the damn heat and humidity. It was quite a big change coming from Central Europe, where spring is slowly arriving to full summer temperatures of Kuala Lumpur. It also felt fantastic to jump on my KTM Duke 125 and burned some Sava rubbers after short winter break', Rok completed his impressions of his first show in 2012.
