| If you have a rooted Kindle Fire and use GO Launcher, you know that every time you turn the device on, you get a new wallpaper. Wouldn't it be nice to set your wallpaper and make it stay each time you turned it on? This procedure involves working on permissions in the Kindle Fire file system, so be very careful. Rooting can be dangerous for someone who does not know what they are doing. I am not responsible if you brick your device. If you follow directions closely, you should be fine. When you do change the permissions of the Wallpaper file that I show you: Uncheck: Owner - Write Group - Write Click OK and then back out to your homescreen and turn off the device and turn it back on, no need to reboot. The wallpaper should stay as you put it. You can get lots of live wallpapers from the Android Market too. Have fun and geek out! |
