WHOA Gameplay from the Super NES game Super Mario Kart, emulated in ZSNES. The start of a legend of gaming. The original SMK was unbalanced, brutal, and unrefined. It was also pretty much unlike anything we'd ever seen before. It was a racing game, something we'd seen before, but with Mario characters and items. It let us not only race the game, or our best times, or each other, but it also let us turn our aggression, built over the course of CPU-administered beatings, onto each other in direct battle. No wonder it spawned imitators. No wonder it's a fixture on Nintendo systems. No wonder it's a favorite. UPDATE, 6/7/2008: Geez, nearly 1500 views in a month. Most of my videos don't get that in three or four months. Some don't even get it in six. Thanks. UPDATE, 7/22/2008: Less than three months and this video has over 4000 views. Jeez, do you people like this thing or WHAT? UPDATE, 11/5/2008: 15000 VIEWS IN SIX MONTHS HOLY SHIT WHAT MAKES THIS VIDEO SO DAMN POPULAR?
