| Legendary New York Yankees closer Mariano Rivera suffered an injury during batting practice yesterday prior to their game against the Royals. Rivera, 42 years old with 608 saves, tore his ACL after his cleat got caught between the outfield and warning track. He will miss the rest of the 2012 season, but hopes to come back after rehabilitation.
