How It's Made-English Saddles

Today they will show you how English Saddles are made!!! English saddles are used to ride horses in "English riding" disciplines throughout the world. The discipline is not limited to England or English-speaking countries. This style of saddle used in all of the Olympic and FEI equestrian disciplines, except for the newly-approved FEI events of equestrian vaulting and reining. Most designs were specifically developed to allow the horse freedom of movement, whether jumping, running, or moving quickly across rugged, broken country with fences. Unlike the western saddle or Australian Stock Saddle, there is no horn or other design elements that stick up above the main tree of the saddle. PLEASE SUBSCRIBE!!!!

Saddle Making School

This school is generally taught on a one-to-one basis; I never take more than two students at a time. It lasts for four weeks with my instruction given Monday through Friday. In that time period, you will have as much hands-on training as you can handle, as I do not limit myself to eight-hour working days. You will build one saddle, for which I will teach you basic border tooling if you desire. At the end of the school, you will have a saddle that you can take out and ride and enjoy. You do need to realize that you will not become an expert in four weeks, but this course will provide you with a foundation which cannot be found in books or DVD courses.
