Gulp. The world's largest stop-motion animation set, shot on a Nokia N8.

Shot with a Nokia N8: nokia.ly 'Gulp' is a short film created by Sumo Science at Aardman, depicting a fisherman going about his daily catch. Shot on location at Pendine Beach in South Wales, every frame of this stop-motion animation was shot using a Nokia N8, with its 12 megapixel camera and Carl Zeiss optics. The film has broken a world record for the 'largest stop-motion animation set', with the largest scene stretching over 11000 square feet. Stop Motion Animation. Magic Water

Facebook page: www.facebook.com Would we survive if our precious water suddenly changed... to this? I used a Nikon D80. Rendered everything in Sony Vegas and animated it in MonkeyJam. One third of the sound effects was made by me, but the rest was found on www.freesound.org. Every single frame was made by me and me only. The clay is a mix between Premo Sculpey and Cernit. Not ideal for stop motion. This animation was meant to be a simple morph, but when I start projects like these I can't stop. I hope you enjoy this one and as always, take care my friends!

Dot. The world's smallest stop-motion animation character shot on a Nokia N8

Professor Fletcher's invention of the CellScope, which is a Nokia device with a microscope attachment, was the inspiration for a teeny-tiny film created by Sumo Science at Aardman. It stars a 9mm girl called Dot as she struggles through a microscopic world. All the minuscule detail was shot using CellScope technology and a Nokia N8, with its 12 megapixel camera and Carl Zeiss optics.
