Animated short film from pictureDRIFT and Boy Reporter Productions - GLUTEUS MAXIMUS THE MAN BEHIND MANKINDS BEHIND tells the story of the humble Ancient Roman philosopher who invented bottoms in the year 23BC. Glute, as he was known by his peers, literally stumbled upon the concept during the reign of Emperor Augustus, and in doing so brought human evolution to a sit still. Its an epic tale told on a tiny scale.

History Channel - Blessed Mary promo

Creative director Joel Noble wanted to create an image spot celebrating the canonization of Australia's first saint Mary MacKillop which had a sense of emotional connection with the everyday Australian public. Promo producer Warren Powell interviewed Aussies from all walks of life, to find out what Mary means to them. The resulting audio edit featuring interview grabs, formed the basis for pictureDRIFT to create a typographic animation which highlights the many extraordinary achievements and journeys across Australia. Historic photographs including the first St Josephs Schoolhouse in Adelaide are set within an animated graphic environment referencing iconic Australian wildflowers.
