| Russell Fork River in Elkhorn City, Ky. In this video: Jordan Green, Zac Birdwell, Adam Hopkins, and Kevin Mather. Had a great time until I tweaked my shoulder on Tower Rapid. Thanks to good friends I was able to get my boat up the gorge to the railroad tracks. Jordon stayed with me and help me hike out. We ran into a couple of locals on the railroad that had brought there cousins down to El Horendo to watch the kayaking. They escorted us down the railroad, through the 500 yard tunnel, across the river trussel, and then up the gorge to the highway. They loaded our boats in there truck and took us back to camp. Great people. They were a God send. Thanks goes out to my kayaking buddies and locals for being there when I needed them. I hope I can repay the favor some day. Maybe not from a bodily injury, but in some more favorable way. But if any of these guys need me, I've got your back. Thanks again for a memorable trip! |
