| "The Ghost" did not scare the crafty Cuban Joel Casamayor, but he did dominate him through 11 rounds. In the 12th, a flash knockdown shocked Robert Guerrero, but he got up and finished a dominating performance earning a unanimous decision. The action was ugly for the most part, but all fights involving the former Olympic champ from Cuba seem to be. The former World Champ used every trick in his arsenal, but Guerrero would not fall into any traps, and avoided any serious damage from head butts and other tactics. The fight was fought at 139 pounds, the heaviest of Guerrero's career which may account for a less than exciting performance. Now 27-1, Robert Guerrero now hopes to move back down to 135 to challenge Juan Manuel Marquez who dominated Juan Diaz in the main event, retaining his Ring, WBO and WBA World titles.
