They are going after the people who repackage their stuff and sell it at swapmeets or after the owners of the websites that host illegal files. The majority of popular files are indeed safe for your computer, but just in case, its always better ot be on the safe side and have at least 1 virus protection software, and at least 1 spyware remover.
