PinkiePieSwear - Trixie's Good Side

As arrogant and brutish as Trixie is, she must have a good side. Maybe she just needs a little musical inspiration! I made this in hopes that even Trixie herself wouldn't be able to resist dropping the narcissistic attitude after listening to it and... I dunno... just giving someone a hug or something. This is the first time I've ever tried taking non-musical speech and forming a melody from it. And holy COW it is hard! I am going to have to give this a try again sometime soon. Makkon - a Waltz for Trixie

Second entry for the Remix War round 2. The challenge was to write an original song based off of the character Trixie. Thinking about her makes me sad, I know people like her and it hurts. So this song is dedicated to Trixie, that perhaps her and people like her can find purpose as they dance alone. I've never written a waltz before, or used choral effects in a song before. I hope it was at least a decent attempt. Trixie lost everything at the end of Boast Busters. The idea behind this track is that she tries to repair her ego by deluding herself that she is "All-powerful" now, as you can hear in the samples. Basically, Trixie gets a God complex. She's shifting from vulnerability to confidence very quickly. MLP belongs to St.Lauren Faust, Hasbro, The Hub. As does the screenshot, I suppose.
