Here is a compilation of the Super Bowl XLVI riot that took place following the New York Giants 21-17 win over the New England Patriots on Sunday, February 5, 2012. The riot took place in the Southwest residential area of the UMass Amherst campus. Over 1500 students gathered and 14 people were arrested. Both campus police and state police were on hand to control the situation.

Students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst riot outside of Berkshire dining commons after the Giants beat the Patriots in SuperBowl 46. Riot Squads, Police dogs, and horseback police were used along with flash bangs, smoke grenades, and paintball guns to disperse the students. There were 2000 students rioting in the Southwest area of campus and it took the police 90 minutes to break up the riot.
