| St Patrick's day is SO fun! Well, it can be, anyway. Makin' up a dinner of Corned Beef and potatoes for St. Pat's Day. Enjoy! :) And, don't forget to Rate, Favorite and Share - THANKS!! ----- No measurements for most of this - just have a pot large enough for what you want to cook, and season to taste. Corned Beef Brisket Carrot Potatoes Celery Garlic Powder Onion Flakes Pepper Italian Seasoning Mix I added a touch of prepared regular mustard, and about a teaspoon of horseradish mustard (you can use plain horseradish to taste) to the water before boiling everything. And, I did NOT add any extra salt. There was enough in the Corned Beef. If you want to go Vegetarian with this, obviously leave out the beef. Instead, boil the vegetables, and add some vegetable stock and extra herbs and spices to the water. When the veggies are done, pour some of the liquid over mushrooms or hard tofu, cooked (baked or boiled) squash or eggplant, or whatever other food you think will hold up well and give a great taste :) |
