| As the two previous days worth of uploads have hyped up, here comes a top ten featuring one of Shoot Style's legendary submission masters. Volk Han would get his start in combat sports, when he began his service is the Soviet Military in 1981. While there, he began training in the art of Sambo. After the end of the USSR, Han signed a contract with RINGS Fighting Network, an upstart Shoot Style promotion led by Akira Maeda. Right away, Han's in-ring style became known as the most complete submission style in the game. Armbars, Leglocks, Chokes, you name it, Volk Han probably used it. His bouts would become the stuff of legend, as he would tie his opponents in submissions few, if any, had ever seen before. In 1994, he entered the Mega Battle Tournament. After battling some tough opposition, Han emerged the final man standing, winning the tournament. 1995 saw the competition take a step up, with the introduction of Kiyoshi Tamura and Tsuyoshi Kohsaka to the promotion. The two men would provide tough competition for Han, although Han stood his ground, and was victorious in most of the bouts, enroute to a repeat victory in the 1995 Mega Battle Tournament. Throughout 1996 and 1997, he would have more bouts with the likes of Tamura, Kohsaka, as well as Yoshihisa Yamamoto. As the years wore on, RINGS eventually evolved into a full fledged Mixed Martial Arts promotion.
