We can all admit, that by far the best commercial during last year's Super Bowl came from Volkswagon which had a kid in a Darth Vader out fit start up a car, with the power of the force....well, and a keyless ignition. Don't believe me? Well over 49 MILLION views on youtube proves this video was ADORABLE! . Now VW is ready to top themselves and they've even jumped the gun and already debuted their new Star Wars ad. But has less to do with Star Wars than you think... A short while ago, VW put up a teaser ad which had a chorus of Dogs barking the Imperial March, all leading up to the commercial that debuted today. An overweight dog decides to get into shape with a Rick James montage in order to chase after the Volkswagon Beetle. Cute, but as soon as you start wondering why this is a "Star Wars Commercial" we realize that the commercial is playing in the famous Cantina on Tatoine where a wretched hive of scum and villainy, debate if this commercial was better than the Darth Vader Kid commercial.
