| Directed by: Sofia Papachristou. Biloba ( Pera Kassiros, an Insignificant Dot on the Map ) Peter is an engineer employed by a multinational company. He is sent to supervise the construction of a waste recycling plant on the Greek island of Pera Kassiros, an insignificant dot on the map somewhere in the Aegean Sea. Peter soon discovers that conditions on the island are far from what he had expected. For all his efforts he fails and, though he falls in love with Areti- an extraordinary and mysterious woman- he is forced to leave the island. However, soon after his return home, Peter finds himself faced with a moral dilemma: let the multinational company use the plant in Pera Kassiros as a cover for the dumping of toxic substances, or save the island that has found a place in his heart? |
