| The Boroondara North Freeway Noise Group (BNFNG) is a group representing residents of Balwyn North (in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia) between Bulleen and Doncaster Roads - the only section of the Eastern Freeway not to have ANY noise barriers. Particularly for residents in Kawarren St, Carron St and Singleton Rd, the noise had been growing over recent years lack of any protection in these sections (no mounds at all) means that many residents see as well as hear the traffic. BNFNG has no funding or political affiliation we operate via the contributions of residents. We estimate that there are currently over 1000 properties detrimentally affected by the noise and air pollution from the Balwyn North section of the M3, who are (naturally) agitated and aggrieved.
