Boulder's Legendary Hot Dog Man, Freddie Snalam

For over 20 years, Freddie Snalam was an institution on the Pearl street mall in Boulder, Colorado. His small hot dog cart, known simply as "Freddie's Hot Dogs" was a staple at the corner of Broadway and Pearl where was always there with a joke, a song, a story about his wild, adventurous life, and just brightening your day with his enormous smile and good cheer. A mountain climber, skier, musician, author, world traveller and entrepenour, Freddie was a real Renaissance Man. Although he hailed from northern England, he was truly a citizen of the world. Sadly he died doing what he loved. In 2002 Freddie was engulfed in an avelanche in the French Alps. Robert Hood + Jokke Sommer - Floorplan - Real Name: Robert Hood Profile: Robert Hood makes minimal Detroit techno with an emphasis on soul and experimentation over flash and popularity. Having recorded for Metroplex, as well as the Austrian Cheap label and Jeff Mills' Axis label, Hood also owns and operates the M-Plant imprint (including the two sublabels Drama and Duet) through which he has released the bulk of his solo material. Hood was a founding member, along with Jeff Mills and Mike Banks, of the Underground Resistance label, whose influential releases throughout the early and mid '90s helped change the face of modern Detroit techno and sparked a creative renaissance. Infusing elements of acid and industrial into a potent blend of Chicago house and Detroit techno, UR's aesthetic project and militant business philosophy were (and remain) singular commitments in underground techno. Hood left Detroit (and UR) with Jeff Mills in 1992, setting up shop in New York and recording a series of 12" EPs. Through the mid '90s, Hood has focused on his solo work, setting up M-Plant in 1994 and releasing singles such as "Internal Empire", "Music Data" and "Moveable Parts". Although his desire to remain underground has been replaced by an urge to reach a wider audience, Hood remains fiercely critical of artistic and economic movements destructive to inner-city communities and has combined his musical enterprises with outreach and social activist ends. Waltz of the Flowers from The Nutcracker

North Atlanta Dance Theatre, under the artistic direction of Michael Garrison, performs The Nutcracker each year the first weekend in December. You may order tickets by calling (770) 772-8000. The performance takes place at Blessed Trinity Fine Arts Theater in Roswell, GA. Katie Cloninger dances Dewdrop, and the corps consists of professionals and advanced student dancers from North Atlanta Dance Academy. This choreography by Michael Garrison is protected by copyright, and he reserves all rights to its performance.

Minecraft Medieval City

This is my medieval minecraft city. I started out building the cathedral but seeing it tower over empty landscape I decided it could use some company. EVERYONE THINKING THIS IS RENAISSANCE, READ THE DESCRIPTION This city is still a work in progress, as I will add walls, a castle and a larger harbor. All the buildings are based on real-life buildings in my area. They're mostly 12th to 14th century, so that would make them late middle ages.
