Ok, so some people are saying its a little to fast. Im sorry!! So here are some WRITTEN instructions to help you along. ( I recommend using the pattern i use in the video to help compare). 1. Print out template. 2. Starting with the non-forked end, fold down each row along the black diagonals. See video if you don't quite understand what im trying to say on this step. (0:28 - 1:04) Crease and unfold. 3. Now fold the two triangles on the bottom end that form the 'fork' up. (1:04 - 1:17). Crease and unfold. 4. Fold the model in half lengthways. (1:17 - 1:34) 5. Apply glue (I never said it was origami!) to one or both sides and glue the model together by folding it in half, sandwiching the glue. (1:35 - 1:58) 6. Now fold the forked end up behind the model, matching the pattern on that area to the same pattern found higher on the model. ( 2:02 - 2:05) 7. Now fold the top of the model down to match yet another segment of that pattern to its brothers. Pull the non-matching area behind what you just folded. ( 2:06 - 2:13) 8. Flip the model. 9. Fold the last little triange over and glue (2:13 - 2:39) Done! I hope that these written instruction with video refrences helped those of you who are struggling. :) |
