| What can be said about Count Frightenstein? Madcap inventor? Mad scientist? Self-made businessman? Perhaps to say that he is a wildly gestulating, cape-sweeping, tennis-shoe wearing, sign-of-the-three-toed-sloth flaunting megalomaniac is a tad much. He does have his moments. His dedication to get his creation, Bruce J. Monster working again is quite impressive. Count Frightenstein was masterfully portrayed by the late Billy Van. Mr. Van's delightful comedic antics as Count Frightenstein (and other Frightenstein characters) have been brought back to the viewing public thanks to the hard work of the people at Critical Mass Releasing Inc. in Toronto, Ontario Canada. |
