I created the city in Cinema 4D with textures I shot of Chicago buildings. The light streaks in the beginning were made in After Effects with Trapcode Particular. Music is from Daft Punk's awesome TRON Legacy soundtrack, "The Grid". Final Compositing was done in After Effects. Since I didn't have any good assets for creating the beachside house at the end of the movie sequence, I wanted to try and infuse the intro with the look of the original TRON which is the city outline at the middle and the end. Instead of flying over the water to the beach, I just ended at the end of the intersection in the city and panned up. |
