| Super hit movie Revati (2005) Synopsis : This story is about a poor innocent rag picker girl, who has been brought up in the slums. She gets highly fascinated when she encounters a rich person and the modern amenities they have; a posh bathroom with ample of water to bathe and nice clothes to wear. She was obsessed with having a clean bath. She had to use a public tap where Urchins & Old men would try to peep at her naked body. Her only clothing was a wrap around cloth.One day she decides to leave home, in search of her own destiny. Every step she takes towards making her dream world a reality, she meets an exploiter and becomes prey to them, but she still goes on fighting and never compromises for anything. Her heart is broken when she realizes her dream is no reality. It is just like a horizon, which never exists; it`s only an illusion of the eye. It`s like looking for water in a desert and she returns back to her world happy. |
