Katy Perry's hit song "Firework", the confidence booster of 2011, has lit the hallways of Bureau Valley High School with a renewed sense of school spirit. "Baby We're The Firework, the 2011 Bureau Valley HS Lipdub" has become a YouTube sensation, receiving over 11000 hits; with 5000 of these views in the first two weeks! Student Michael Lotspeich was given the idea by Mr. Mike Patterson, principal at the time, and Michael ran with it.
