How To Build a Cyclorama Wall

This video was made with Sam Robles to explain how he built his studio cyclorama wall. It is pretty informative and will give you a basic step-by-step walk-thru/tutorial on some tips to build your own. www.SamRobles.com We shot this with a Canon 7D and a Canon 5D Mk II and edited in Final Cut Pro. Like me on Facebook - www.facebook.com This has to be one of the worst wrecks I have ever witnessed. Last year while shooting pictures on a "dream car tour" we got caught in an epic storm that came through very fast and made conditions extremely unsafe. Unfortunately this happened while we were driving down the Palisades Parkway in New York. The car lost control and flew off the road, went down a huge ditch, hit some trees, ended up flipping and coming to a rest. The crash mangled the car to a point where nothing could be salvaged. This should serve as a reminder to always drive safe and compensate your driving for the conditions. Thankfully no one was killed in the accident. Please leave a comment and subscribe. Enjoy!

Canon 7d with the LILLIPUT field monitor test and Review

www.dslrfilmnoob.com I Searched all over the net for a review of the Lilliput monitor used as a field monitor for the Canon 7d, and i found nothing. So I decided to take a chance and order it. Turns out it works Great for pulling focus with the canon 7d and not to bad on the canon 5d mkII. It has the same resolution as many higher priced models such as the Ikan. As a resident at UNC, Dugar doesn't have much time on his hands. But when he does find a moment, he finds relaxation and restoration in an ancient and evolving dance called Bhangra. The performance scenes were shot partially with a tilt-shift lens (Canon TS-E 45mm f/2.8) on a Canon 5D MKII DSLR which is used to create the very narrow area of focus which in turn makes certain scenes appear miniature.

Shot over a couple of nights, taking the 5dmk2 out on the streets and getting shots of the inhabitants and visitors. No lighting, no grading. This is what came out of the camera image wise. All handheld and helped by using the Z-Finder from Zacuto to give the camera a proper viewfinder and improve stability. All shot using one lens. A Nikon mount Zeiss ZF 50mm f1.4 Music is by Stacey Kent: You can't take that away from me. Converted to 25p in Compressor. 3 shots use smoothcam in FCP to give an interesting look.
