| I wanted to know what kind of effect I could get while using these cheap, plastic lomography lenses on my Canon DSLR, but I couldn't find any decent tests or examples online. Here's mine. The lens itself was $35. The Canon mount adaptor was $14. 20mm is not super wide on my full frame sensor, but it has some great distortion that you can play with (especially for shooting movies, since the distortion warps the image as the camera moves). I have done some post work, including color-correction, vignetting, adding grain, scratches, film burns, etc., so this is not necessarily how the lens performs out of the box. Honestly, it made me want to buy a better lens. It's fun to hack around with, but I usually don't like to sacrifice so much detail. I love the warmth and nostalgia inherent in low-fi production, but it can be achieved with some good editing software and with a lot more control. I'm going to keep playing with this lens (and a Holga). They're loads of fun, but most DSLR users are probably more interested in resolution and sharpness.
