The singer just released her new highly anticipated come back single "Skyscraper" and after just a few hours on iTunes, it's already jumped to #2 -- that said, we wouldn't be surprised at all if the song was at #1 by the afternoon here in Hollywood. As we predicted and Demi reinforced, 'Skyscraper' will likely be much more than a song for Lovatics. The lyrics are incredibly powerful, and you can really sense the emotion in Demi's voice as she sings "You can take everything I have/You can break everything I am/Like I'm made of glass, like I'm made of paper/Go on and try and tear me down/I will be rising from the ground like a skyscraper." There is a lot of pain in the song, which focuses on the end of a relationship or so it seems, however when all is said and done, the track is very empowering. Demi stopped by Ryan Secrest's morning radio show where she revealed that she actually recorded this song before entering treatment and that when she tried to re-record it, it didn't have that same almost "cry for help," so she kept the intial version.
