University project Question: Can a somewhat previously inexperienced, single body use consumer technology to produce a professional looking claymation by users standards. The outcome was far from what I wanted, but without; -Set Redesign -Character Redesign -Narrative Redesign Which would result in buying a lot more materials - I would not have enough time to reproduce another animation. Time spent on project: Filming: 60 Hours Editing: 20 Hours After Effects compositing: 5 hours Audio recording/editing: 7 hours. These times did not include test videos/character creation or story creation. These alone took another 60 hours believe it or not. Tools used. -Photoshop for graphics. -After Effects for compositing + text. -Avid Protools/garageband for audio editing. -AKG 414 + Zoom h4 for recording audio. -Canon 550d/18-55mm/EOS canon utility remote shooting. -Premiere pro for editing. -Lewis newplast clay for... the clay.
