Anime Eyes with MAC

I've seen a lot of anime/manga eye makeup looks in the past, but a lot of them don't look like the actual style seen in anime/manga. Or at least the ones I've seen...even the Hello Kitty Lady Gaga one (although it was cool) looked a bit flat to me. Basically I colored the eyes more like my understanding of what anime/manga eyes look like. I apologize if there's food in my teeth. What can I say, I like to eat. Music credit: (again, these music disks were gifted to me, so I will do my best to give as much info as possible) "Cutie Honey" by Koda Kumi "Come with Me" by Koda Kumi "Sweet Friends" by Crystal Kay from her KISS album All MAC products used are shown in the video. The only e/s that may be unreadable is "shimmer moss" which is the greenish one layered over the upper half of the eye. Again, you if you are recreating this look or making your own version, you may use whatever products you currently own or make your own substitutions. I don't do trials beforehand; these looks just come to me and I record them that day. Also, my tip for checking symmetry and balance: look up/down in mirror. Or, take a picture and you will see where your mistakes are. There are some unpolished edges in this look, but you get the point :)

Real Life Anime

Hello my piggy pink marshmallow puffs! Sometimes we want to look like a real life anime character, may it be for halloween, cosplay, or just for fun. I'm going to show you how to quickly achieve this big eye cartoon look, so let's start! First im gonna wear anime circle lenses. They have reflections and colour shades of an anime eye in their design, plus an eye enlarging effect, so they basically make you look like an anime straight away! Those types of lenses come in various colours and designs, so there's something for everyone! This one is 14.0mm big, and easier to get in your eye than other lenses. Next, give your eye a cartoon like shape, like the one we see in anime. With an eyeliner, line your lash line. Don't mind making the line a bit thicker than usually, because we want the black to get noticed. Line black eyeliner along your lower lash line, but then set the line off as you get closer to the outer corner. This line will open your eyes and make them appear bigger. In the outer corner of your upper lash line, draw a small spike so it should look like a set of lashes. Get a pair of fake lashes, ones that are thick and get longer to the outer corner of your eye, as anime characters, when they wear makeup, they wear a lot of mascara. Stick the falsies to your lash line and curl them. Use mascara to make the falsies even longer and blend them with your real lashes together. Now you have this teary anime eye look with long lashes! My Last Day (English)-- the Jesus Anime

(NOTE MORE LANGUAGE VERSIONS MAY BE VIEWED AT: www.youtube.com A few years ago, in Budapest, colleagues brainstormed an idea for creating a Japanese "Anime" version of Jesus' story. We met with former Disney animator, Barry Cooke who loved the idea. My role was very small, but after various scripts, music and concepts. HERE IT IS! At one point it was the story of Jesus meeting the "Demoniac." Eventually, we decided the first story would be about Jesus' death and resurrection. This story unfolds through the eyes of a criminal who receives the same brutal crucifixion sentence as Christ. "My Last Day" is a short film of regret, repentance and redemption. Animé created by The JESUS Film Project, with Barry Cook and Studio 4C (株式会社スタジオよんどしい Kabushiki-Gaisha Sutajio Yondo Shii). They created Animatrix, Tekkon Kinkreet and Gotham Knight. PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTION THIS VIDEO IS NOT FOR REAL, IT'S JUST FOR FUN ------------------------------------ After several questions and comments, i've decided to make a little FAQ about this video : Frequently asked questions/comments : - "What is the name of this anime ??" This is not a real anime, i used several animes listed at the end of the video -"What is the name of the first/second/third song ?" All the songs are listed at the end of the video, in order of appearance. -"WTF??!! LIGHT IS EDWARD !" I chose Light as Edward because i think they are physically alike (orange/brown hair, eyes that turns red, and i like the chara-design of this character). I know they have nothing in common, and i think Light is waaaaaay cooler than Edward. Though I prefer L :p -"The subtitles have no sense at all ! And it's not a good english !" I chose to use voices in japanese to make it look more "real". And for the english, i'm french so i know my english is not perfect at all, so please forgive me for that =) -"Is there a Eclipse/Breaking Dawn video ?"
