This month, we talk to Bryan Berg on his first visit to London for his most recent project. He currently holds the record for the largest playing card structure (10.39 m (34 ft 1.05 in) long, 2.88 m (9 ft 5.39 in) tall and 3.54 m [11 ft 7.37 in] wide), and the tallest house of cards (7.86 m [25 feet 9 7/16 inches]). Since 1992 he has broken his own records 8 times. Gulp. The world's largest stop-motion animation set, shot on a Nokia N8.

Shot with a Nokia N8: nokia.ly 'Gulp' is a short film created by Sumo Science at Aardman, depicting a fisherman going about his daily catch. Shot on location at Pendine Beach in South Wales, every frame of this stop-motion animation was shot using a Nokia N8, with its 12 megapixel camera and Carl Zeiss optics. The film has broken a world record for the 'largest stop-motion animation set', with the largest scene stretching over 11000 square feet. The World's Largest Alpona in Bangladesh

On 13th April, 2012, to celebrate the coming of the Bangla new year, airtel, supported by Prothom Alo, got together with 5 of the country's leading artist to create history. The dream was to paint the world's largest Alpona- a hand painted motif- on Manik Mia avenue in Dhaka. 220 young artists, supported by thousands of Dhakaites, worked from 12AM to 6AM, using almost 3600 liters of paint to create an Alpona that stretched from one end of the Manik Mia to another. The 1 km long Alpona created covered a staggering area of 260000 sft, and was the perfect way to mark the start of 1419! Reebok CrossFit: Guinness World Record for Largest 3D Street Art

Today Reebok CrossFit, a revolutionary strength and conditioning programme, teamed up with artists 3D Joe and Max to break the Guinness World Record for the largest ever 3D street art. The painting measured an impressive 1160.4m² and was unveiled at London's West India Quays, Canary Wharf. Here the public were invited to take part in a Reebok CrossFit WOD (workout of the day) on the spectacular artwork.

World's largest treehouse? 7 trees support 1800 sq ft home

Michael Garnier has helped pioneer the craft of modern treehouse construction. His Garnier limb -invented in collaboration with other enthusiasts as an open source project- holds up to 8000 pounds and allows treehouse builders to create stronger, more durable dwellings in the trees. When Garnier, who owns a treehouse resort with 9 elevated dwellings, decided to build his own home for himself and his wife Peggy, it had to also be nestled in the branches. While his B&B cabins in the air are closer to 100 square feet, for his own home he decided to go big. His home is 1800 square feet on three floors. He calls it the world's largest treehouse (not a fact, though he challenges anyone to prove him wrong). He selected a spot in the middle of a grove of White Oak trees and used 7 trees to support the weight of his home (the largest one in the middle of the home is no longer living, but he manufactured a root system for it so it would still support the weight of a living tree). In this video, Garnier takes us for a tour of his "trees house" and explains how a home like his does less damage to the grove of trees than if he'd built a conventional house there.
