"Stand Back" is a song by Stevie Nicks from her 1983 album The Wild Heart. It was released as a single on May 19, 1983, and went to number five on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number two on the US Top Rock Tracks chart. It was a major success, and still receives substantial airplay to this day. The song has been a staple in Nicks' live shows since its pre-album debut at the US Festival in May 1983, and it has also been included in Fleetwood Mac tour setlists since 1987. The main intro of the song features an Oberheim OB-Xa synthesizer. The synth-bass is played on a Roland Jupiter 8. On the Rock A little tour, the Oberheim is replaced with a Yamaha DX7. There were two mixes prepared for the song; the generally more well known Album Version (4:48) and the edited Single Version (4:18). Differences between the two are somewhat subtle, but the Single Mix tends to have more of a "collapsed" or "mono" sound to it and the electronic drum programs are mixed, rather dry and flattened, especially in the song's intro bars; whereas the drum tracks on the Album mix are accentuated by a generous amount of reverb effect and harder compression. Acoustic drums were given a more backseat role on Stand Back. There is a further 'polished' version of the track, with crisper percussion and louder foreground synth, featured on Nicks' 1991 best of compilation Timespace, remixed by Chris Lord-Alge, and running at 4:59. This tutorial will show you how to make EASY Japanese Baked Cheesecake since I received a lot of request for it. Like New York Cheesecake, people call it "Japanese" Cheesecake!? I hope you love it!!! I made the crust with vanilla wafers (not the biscuits). It tastes very crispy and delicious, so try it out!!! My darling is not a sweets person but he loved it! Also, my mom said it was really good :P hehe --------------------------------- Japanese Baked Cheesecake Difficulty: easy Time: 40min + 2-3 hours refrigeration time Number of servings: 12 cheesecake bars Necessary Equipment: 6-inch square brownie pan (9-inch square brownie pan makes 18 flatter cheesecake bars) Ingredients: ((Crust)) 120g (4.2oz.) vanilla wafers 40g (1.4oz.) butter (softened) ((Cheesecake)) 200g (7oz.) cream cheese (softened) 60g (2.1oz.) sugar 2 egg 150cc fresh cream (or whipping cream is okay) 1 tbsp. lemon juice 3 tbsp. flour 20g (0.7oz.) butter Directions: ((Crust)) 1. Line the brownie pan with waxed paper or parchment paper. 2. Smash vanilla wafers in a Ziploc bag, add butter (softened), and mix well. Press firmly into the brownie pan. Chill until set. ((Cheesecake)) 1. Preheat the oven to 180C (350F). 2. Beat cream cheese with wire whisk. Add sugar, beaten eggs (little by little), fresh cream, lemon juice, flour (sift in), and melted butter, and mix until smooth. 3. Thanksgiving - Chocolate Pecan Pie

Jack Scalfani is joined with special guest Joe Chavez as they make a classic Thanksgiving dessert even better. Here is the recipe: Chocolate Pecan Pie 1 pkg of 8 squares of Baker's semi-sweet chocolate 1 refrigerated pie crust 2 tbsp butter or margarine 3 eggs lightly beaten 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar 1 cup of KARO light or dark corn syrup 1 tsp. vanilla 1.5 cups pecan halves or walnut halves heat oven to 350 degrees F. Coarsely chop 4 squares of the chocolate and set aside. Line a 9 inch pie plate with your pie crust or use a premade. Microwave remaining 4 squares of chocolate and butter until butter is melted. stir until chocolate is completely smooth. Brush pie crust with small amount of beaten eggs. Stir sugar, corn syrup, eggs and vanilla into chocolate mixture until blended. Stir in pecans and chopped chocolate pieces. Pour into pie crust. Bake 55 minutes or until knife inserted 2 inches from edge comes out clean. Cool for a minimum of 2 hours. Serves 8 people.
