Fomins un Kleins -- Solījums

The Latvian rock band Fomins & Kleins was founded at the end of 2002. Its members Ivo Fomins and Tomass Kleins were already accomplished and recognized rock musicians. Both are from the western Latvian port city of Liepāja, which is famous for its rock music traditions - many famous Latvian rock musicians have come from there. The single "Solījums" (Promise) is often played on many Latvian radio stations, and the song's video is frequently shown on television and was nominated for the Best Music Video Award at the Latvian Music Awards. About movie: Year 1980/1981 Director: Aloiz Brench Cast: Yevgeni Zharikov, Lyudmila Chursina, Lilita Ozolinya The fisherman's son Arthur Banga, the participant of struggle for the Soviet authority in Latvia, the soldier of the Second World war, has headed a fishing facilities in post-war years. He is in love with Marta Ozols, the daughter of the previous head of the farm and the helper of partisans. It's a story told in several parts that takes place over several decades. It begins around the time Latvia was overtaken by the Soviets, with this beautiful love story set against the backdrop of the changing times.
