Remote Camera Head 1

After being inspired by another home made head on youtube, i decided to make my own remote camera head. Seen here is the basic frame with the pan and tilt bearings, with temporary camera platform (soon to be replaced with a 3mm thick aluminium plate) and a temporary ballence weight (the spanner). This will eventualy be moved using two 810:1 geared motors with a 1:1 toothed timing belt drive system. Should be pretty good when its done...

DIY Camera Stabilizer Ver7.4

I have made a Camera Stabilizer which is able to use for taking videos with small digital camera (about 300g) to Digital SLR (about 1500g). All parts can be separated for better portability. This version (v7.4) is specially designed to achieve to be light for using with heavy digital SLR. Even it is Lightweight (525g) but, it has enough rigidity and designed for easier and faster setting. It is enable to operate in one hand and carry up to 2300g total by changing the combination of ballasts. カメラスタビライザー(通称ステディカム)を自作。 使用出来るカメラはDSLR（1500グラム程度）からコンシューマカメラ（300グラム程度） までをカバー出来るように設計。 携帯性を考えて分割出来る構造にしています。 今回のVer.7.4は特にDSLRの重たいカメラを手持ちで撮影出来るよう限りなく軽量化を重視。 本体重量（バラスト無し）525グラムで剛性も十分あります。 その他の改良の結果バランスのセッティングが早く出来るようになりました。 また軽量化とウェイトの配置の変更で総重量（DSLR、スタビライザー、ウェイト）が2300グラム前後で片手でも充分撮影可能になりました。
