| Charles E. Hart, 83, of Dunwoody passed away February 25, 2012. Charlie was born in Worcester, MA and raised in Southbridge MA. He was the son of Charles and Genevieve Barrar Hart. He is survived by his wife, Mildred C. Hart of Danielson, CT and his daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Tim Hanofee of Big Canoe, GA, son James B. Hart of Atlanta, GA, daughter and son-in law Cynthia and Mark Edwards of Dunwoody, GA, son and daughter-in-law Charles M. and Patti Hart of Woodstock, GA, and daughter and son-in-law Suzanne and Jim Scales of Lawrence, KS. In addition, he is also survived by twelve grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Charlie was a graduate of Tabor Academy, Marion, MA, attended Dartmouth College for his freshman and sophomore years, and transferred to Holy Cross for his junior year. At the end of his junior year, he volunteered for the Navy during the Korean War and was assigned to the Pacific Fleet where he spent the next four months in San Diego and the remaining eighteen months at Sangley Naval Air Station, Cavite, Philippines. He returned to Holy Cross in 1953 graduating in 1954. Following graduation, Charlie joined Massachusetts Mutual, and six months later was assigned to the Houston, TX branch. In the following years with this company, he managed Houston, Springfield, MA, and Atlanta, GA group offices.
