Successfully developing a liquid-fluoride thorium reactor (LFTR) would essentially solve our planets energy problems for thousands of years, because it would allow us to fully utilize the energy in natural thorium, which makes up 0.0012% of the Earths crust. Most of the research and development work for this technology was done by Oak Ridge National Labs back in the 50s and 60s. They were working to a different set of overall objectives, nevertheless, there are many lessons to be gleaned from their work that can help us to avoid pitfalls and develop LFTR into a high-performance, high-reliability power supply.

PowerPoint Animation Effect Tutorial - How to Make a Night City with Lights

This is my first video, so I hope you guys find it useful. This is a tutorial for an advanced Powerpoint animation technique that shows a city at night with moving cars and blinking lights. It was done in PPT 2010 but can be done in other versions as well, since the effects used are not very complicated. While this technique is currently shown with a night city, you can also use it in a variety of other ways -- Christmas lights, stars in the sky, electric signs -- and I'm sure in many other ways that I can't think of right now. I would love to hear/see your ideas as well! Please let me know if you want to see other videos as well. If you guys like these, I have many other ideas I can walk you through! The raised seventh offers a leading tone for strong resolution toward the scales tonic. This makes resolutions occur with far greater pull than is possible with the Natural Minor scale. The video explains the scales' basic structure and design. Viewers are shown two fingerboard patterns off of sixth and fifth strings. Then, there is a thorough explanation of the harmony and how chords can be used in progressions to utilize the sound of Harmonic Minor.
