Page Field Pilot School Deceptive Altitude in Fort Myers, Florida

FOX 4 In case you missed it www.fox4now.com These planes fly above our home every day for hours on end. They fly extremely low and are very loud and intrusive. The authority at Page Field Airport has been deceptive about the planes altitudes, they first told us that these planes were flying at 1000 ft. They then changed their answer to 800 ft. Many of these planes are clearly lower than 800 ft. while pilots in training practice touch and goes. They circle our home about every 6 - 8 minutes. In this video we recorded between 9:06 am and 10:08 am I did not record the plane at every pass. These planes and the noise they make are a threat to my property values and infringe on my right to a peaceful and quiet home life. It is also clear that amateur pilots learning to fly are a danger to our neighborhood should something go wrong in flight.

The New Flight Club NY

During our Fall 2010 Tour we stopped by the new Flight NYC located at 812 Broadway. Between 11 & 12th. The new store is massive. They're got a crazy selection to choose from. Nike, Adidas, Jordan, Puma, Reebok etc. You name it, it's there. They pride themselves on there Jordan Collection. For those who have never been, we gladly take you inside the new Flight Club New York. Enjoy.

Weather balloon GPS space flight iPhone camera footage homemade spacecraft 100000 ft altitude (HD)

Originally uploaded on October 10, 2010 by me, TheHeroOfChrist. Video from a camera attached to a weather balloon that rose into the upper stratosphere and recorded the blackness of space. Seven-year-old Max Geissbuhler and his dad Luke Geissbuhler dreamed of visiting space. Armed with just a weather balloon, a video camera, and an iPhone, they basically did just that. The father-and-son team from Brooklyn managed to send their homemade spacecraft up nearly 19 miles, high into the stratosphere, bringing back perhaps the most impressive amateur space footage ever. The duo housed the video camera, iPhone, and GPS equipment in a specially designed insulated casing, along with some hand-warmers and a note from Max requesting its safe return from whomever may find it after making it back to solid ground. All told, father and son spent eight months preparing for their homemade journey into space, in hopes of filming "the blackness beyond our earth." Then, one day in August, Max, his father, and his friend Miles Horner headed out to a nearby park to see their dreams realized. After attaching their equipment to a 19-inch weather balloon and switching on the camera, they watched as their simple craft disappeared high into the sky. Durign harsh winter conditions in Dryden, Ontario, a passenger plane crashes into trees 962 metres beyond the end of the runway moments after takeoff. Three years later, this scenario repeats itself with the identical aircraft model on a USAir flight, as it plunges into Flushing Bay upon takeoff from LaGuardia Airport. Poor safety practices, a design flaw with the wings of the Fokker F28, and ineffective de-icing mechanisms lead to ice buildup on the wings of the aircraft in each incident, causing both aircraft to crash.

Trike Flying Arizona - "Fields and Desert" (HD)

We flew 220 miles from Phoenix, Arizona to the Imperial Sand Dunes of southeastern California. The flight lasted from sunrise to about 3pm. We flew from our home field Pleasant Valley airfield over the beautiful Sonoran desert, past the White Tank Mountains, via Gila Bend airport, over a vast stretch of alfalfa fields, to the low desert, to Yuma (where we stopped for lunch), and then to the dunes. The weather was great, although windy at times. The ground vehicles were mostly doing the "sand drag races" at the dunes. Other aircraft: notice the cropduster flying beneath halfway through, and my friend Chris flying our friend Kurt's plane throughout. Aircraft: Air Creation Buggy with Kiss 13m wing. Camera: Sony PC 110 with .42 wide angle. Conditions: calm to 15mph wind (we trailered home to 20mph headwinds). Altitude: 2-1000' AGL. One of the best rides of my life.
