The graduation ceremony of the class of 2010, Varee Chiangmai School, THAILAND. Shot with a Canon 5D MKII and a Canon 7D, sometimes mounted on steadicam pilot and RODE Videmic on the 5D's hotshoe. I Used Magic Bullet Looks for color grading (my first time btw) The Original clip was 11:30 minutes long, but i had to split it into 2 parts because youtube only allow 10 minutes. Make sure you watch part 1 first!

Chuck Prophet ¡Let Freedom Ring! Documentary Trailer

Songwriter/Musician Chuck Prophet and band travels to Mexico City to record his upcoming album, ¡Let Freedom Ring!. Filmmaker Scott Compton and DP John Behrens went along for the ride armed with Canon 5D MkII HD SLR cameras. Amid power outages, earthquakes, corrupt police and swine flu hysteria on CNN, Chuck and band managed to plug in and roll tape on a old-school rock record that takes no prisoners. The Easy Guide to Color Grade & Correct Video

For more news and training, visit nextwavedv.com I constantly see training on how to get the "film look" while color grading and color correcting footage, the problem is most people go about the process the wrong way. Instead of a filmic look, they end up with crushed blacks and blown out whites. While down at Cine Gear Expo, I interviewed Technicolor about their CineStyle preset for the Canon 5D MkII. While getting setup for the interview, I asked one of the guys his technique for color grading. He showed me a new way to manipulate video that I think is much better for filmmakers. In this video I grade the footage in Adobe After Effects with Red Giant's Colorista Free. Coffee Pot No.1 in Steam at Rowley Station, Beamish Museum [HD]

Footage of our Head Wrightson shunting engine in steam at Rowley Station, February 2011. Coffee Pot No.1, a veteran from 1871, is seen carrying out a genuine day's work when the curatorial team at Beamish Museum were engaged in moving rolling stock into and out of the storage areas. This gave a great opportunity to see some items not normally on public display, as well as giving the curatorial team a public outing in all their dishevelled states! Here is a sequence of film taken over the day. Note that the signals are non-operational and aren't being passed at 'danger'. The Nashville Flood. May 2, 2010.

Between May 1st and May 2nd, 2010, Middle Tennessee received the greatest amount of rainfall in recorded history. It has left us with several casualties, millions of dollars in damage and an indelible mark on our city. This video shows but a small sample of the destruction and mayhem wrought by this disaster. Please pray for those affected by this tragedy. For those who have asked, this was shot handheld with a Canon 5D Mark II. I used Canon's 35mm, 50mm and 85mm prime lenses. I feel so blessed by the outpouring of support for this video. I hope it has helped to get the word out.
