"So the effect is they are poisoning the minds of the public," he said. our founding fathers were WRONG about this issue. What examples of direct democracy had they known of and feared? The french revolution hadn't even HAPPENED yet and it's the only example of direct democracy we have: and it was put down by the sword, from the outside... You are wrong. if our founding fathers had legitimently been interested in decentralizing planning then they would of have sprung for a direct democratic republic. They wanted to seize power for themselves.

Middle-East and African pro-democracy protests.

I know this isn't the greatest, but this is for all the pro-democracy protesters being massacred throughout the Middle-East and Africa. So far there have been 300 protesters massacred in Libya alone, including children. There have just been orders issued for mercenaries to rape Libyan women. Soldiers who refuse to kill their Libyan brothers and sisters are being burned to death.
