Shwaas

Vichare, an old villager brings his 8 years old grandson, Parshuram to a doctor in Mumbai to diagnose Parshuram's eyes. On the first day, Vichare is asked to sign usual papers before admission in hospital. Upon asking, he learns that the papers say that the doctor would not be responsible if anything goes wrong. Vichare, the rustic grandfather finds these terms unacceptable. Parshuram is suffering through a critical problem. Dr. Sane finds that the only way to save Parshuram's life is to perform an operation that will leave the child blind. Doctor insists that Parshuram should be informed about the surgery before the operation. The film then depicts Vichare's struggle to accept the reality that the only way to save his grandson is at the cost of his eyesight. Will Parshuram's grandfather be able to make Parshuram realize about the critical situation in which he will be after the loss.

Inspector Arjun Singh, Vinod Khanna of Bombay Police has attained a sordid reputation of being of the most ruthless policemen in India and is known for his torture and brutality. When a young man is killed in custody Arjun is spoken to and warned and subsequently transferred to a small town of Tehsil. Arjun denies these charges and asserts in vain that the death was not his fault. Arjun re locates there and finds to his horror that the family of the young man who died in his care are his neighbors and that this town regards him as enemy number one. Arjun must now come to terms with his past and compromise in this town and find out what were the circumstances behind this young mans death or just get another transfer. However he is abandoned by his lover Vidya Anita Raj and a determined Pooja Madhvi is doing all she can to bring justice to her brothers murder. Arjun finds solace in alcoholism and a prostitute Seema Meenaskhi Sheshadri.

One of X Japan's most personal and poignant songs. Extended the official video clip for the full Yoshiki outro, translated and subtitled all lyrics. It's of course often not possible to do a one-to-one translation between Japanese and English, so there's plenty of other legitimate ways to translate the song. For those curious, this is not an overly-literal translation; it's instead as close to my own feelings from the original lyrics as possible.
