| Well, Lansing has been undergoing our first severe weather event since August of last year. At about 12:30 PM EDT, a line of thunderstorms began developing just to the southwest of Lansing, and moved through the area around 1:20 PM EDT. This clip includes: -12:38 PM EDT LF with a Special Weather Alert issued on the same storm in its 'early days'. Jackson, just 30 miles to my south, reported a 61 mph wind gust at Reynolds Field. Power was knocked out to a few select areas in Lansing. Several traffic lights were knocked out. Enjoy! |
