"Lucky Star" is based on the daily life (mostly school-life) of 4 high-school girls, and they usually just chat around about little things in life in a comical way. The characters in the story are all kind, cute and funny like Mao is. *About the 'MOE!' culture: 'MOE!' is a sort of slang mainly used among Japanese animation fans. It means they're greatly attracted to someone because of their charm. However, the subjects of 'MOE!' are usually not sexy, but rather girlish and cute.
