With their armies ready, the fate of Azeroth was about to be decided. Malfurion formed a plan that was sure to end in victory. Malfurion knew what had to be done: use the very power Archimonde fought for, against him. Archimonde tore through, well, everything. Finally reaching the top, Malfurion did what had to be done. Blowing the horn of Cenarius, and summoning the power of the very tree itself, and the surrounding forests. The wisps flew at Archimonde and detonated, ending the Arch-Demon, and his plans. However the Tree was severely scarred and broken from the battle, ending the night elves immortality. Some time later, Maiev Shadowsong, previous jailor of Illidan, found Malfurion and Tyrande. Evidently, Illidan had returned, and attempted to slaughter Maiev and her troops...with the help of the Naga. Together, they fought through hordes of Naga, they found Illidan, who kidnapped Tyrande, only to give her back with a warning not to follow him. They, of course, followed him across the great sea to Lordaeron. Tyrande and Maiev went off in search of Illidan, while Malfurion journeyed to the woods, and learned through the spirits of the forest that Northrend was being destroyed by Illidan. He went back to Maiev, but Tyrande was not there. He was informed that she had died in battle. Malfurion, Maiev, and their new ... |
