Santos IMPROV LEGEND CRAIG CACKOWSKI short documentary ©2012 Gemma Fontaine * We may be planning on producing a feature-length documentary film about improv in general (it depends how many of you like this short) _________________________________________________ UPDATE: The clips you see with the better picture quality are from my own prosumer camera, the Canon VIXIA HV 30. The other camera (on the two shot interview and B-Roll are from a consumer camera provided by LACC's Cinema Department - and I already knew that there will be a major difference between the two in terms of quality on both video and sound). Today, I tried to match the better video quality on both the two-shot and B-roll but, couldn't get the right look and couldn't match audio levels so, I could not get the correct balance. Also, I had to slightly resize the picture from 100% to about 85% to avoid cutoff at the upper part of the video (so, a reminder to leave a lot of headroom even if you're shooting at 4:3; that rule doesn't always apply to 16:9). The original upload of the original video edit on Final Cut Pro at LACC generated a buzzing noise as well as A/V sync issues as informed by the ... |
